What happens when the already boundary breaking Ram TRX falls into the hands of legendary automotive tuner, John Hennessey? A beast of mammoth proportions is born. The Ram TRX 1500 Hennessey Mammoth 1000 is the official apex predator of the truck world. Jurassic Park fans will understand when I say Hennessey brilliantly took a truck named after the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex and mutated it into Abdominus Rex proportions.
For those unfamiliar with Hennessey Performance Engineering, they are an American tuning house that specializes in modifying sports cars, pick-up trucks and sports utility vehicles from a variety manufacturers. Established in 1991, their headquarters in Sealy, Texas has produced some amazingly powerful vehicles. Their first build, the Hennessey Venom 650R, a package upgrade for the 1996 Dodge Viper, made it one of the fastest legal cars in the world with a top speed of over 215mph! Every monstrous creation released by Hennessey has become bigger and badder than the one before.

The Mammoth 1000 easily leaves Hennessey’s Velociraptor 600 Ford Raptor begging for mercy. The undisputed tyrant of trucks is the world’s fastest and most powerful producing 1,012 horsepower from its supercharged 6.2L Hemi V8 HELLCAT engine. The fuel injectors and high-flow induction system add performance-boosting calibration which breathes life into this on-road/off-road beast.
If you need to outrun a velociraptor, or secure bragging rights from the truck lords, you need to own the only pick-up truck in the world that can complete a quarter mile run in 11.4 seconds. Roaring to life, the Mammoth 1000 boasts 969 pound-force feet of torque to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds. It can tow more than 7,700lbs and possesses a carrying payload that exceeds 2,300lbs. The HELLCAT engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission allowing permanent 4-wheel-drive power delivery for any challenge you put the TRX up against.
In addition to the powertrain upgrades, the interior and exterior of [this Ram TRX] the Ram TRX features LED lights, a front suspension leveling system, electronic fold-out steps, a 2.5-inch lift kit, as well as a retractable electronic bed cover to secure rear cargo from outside predators.
